The shoe that Michael Jordan captured his first ever NBA Championship in, the Jordans 2017, will be releasing in at least a couple of new colorways next year. The Air Jordan 6 All-Star also known as “Chameleon” is a special version Air Jordan 6 release for the 2017 NBA All-Star in New Orleans.
The New Air Jordan 6 (VI) is back in a big way in 2017, and it’ll all be highlighted by this brand new colorway inspired by the mid-February classic. The Air Jordan 6 “All-Star” features an iridescent leather upper with hexagon Jumpman logos on the heel and insole – perhaps a nod to the Hornets, a franchise that was once located in New Orleans. As you know, the 2017 All-Star Game was originally scheduled to be held in Charlotte before the NBA made the decision to switch locations.
Believed to be one of Jordan Brand’s All Star Weekend releases for 2017, this Air Jordan 6 is being known as the Chameleon colorway due to the color-changing capabilities that are seen on the upper. Covered in an iridescent leather upper, this Air Jordan 6 gets hit with Black on the tongue, laces, inner liner, heel tab, midsole, and outsole. Additional iridescent detailing can be seen on the lace aglets with 3M accents on the upper capping things off.
Jordan Brand will be releasing a special Air Jordan 6 for the 2017 All Star games in New Orleans. The Air Jordan 6 will feature an iridescent leather upper that changes colors in light. 3M detailing is also included on this release for a fire iteration on the 6th Air Jordan.
Look for the Air Jordan 6 “All-Star” to release on February 16th, 2017 at select Jordans 2017 retail stores. The retail price tag is set at $225 USD.
